                MS-PAINT(pbrush)

 

Paint is a feature in Windows 7 that you can use to create drawings on a blank drawing area or in existing pictures. Many of the tools you use in Paint are found in the Ribbon, which is near the top of the Paint window.

·      To Open s-Paint

1.    START à All Program à Accessories  à MS- Paint

2.    START à Run à pbrush à OK

3.    START à Search Programs  And Files à MS-Paint

4.    “ Window + R “ à pbrush à OK

5.    Double Click On Ms-Paint Icon On Any Location

6.    Right Click On Any Image à Open With à Ms-Paint

·      Parts of Ms-Paint Window

1.    Title bar :- a horizontal bar at the top of a window, bearing the name of the program and typically the name of the currently active document.


File Menu(Alt+F)

You click here to Open, Save or Print and to see everything else you can do with your picture.

 

1.    New (Ctrl+N) :- you can create a new picture.

2.    Open (Ctrl+O) :-  you can open an existing picture.

3.    Save (Ctrl+S) :- you can save the current picture.

4.    Save as (F12) :- You can save the current picture as a new file.

5.    Print (Ctrl+P) :- You can print the current picture.

6.    Print preview (Ctrl+F2) :- You can see the print preview and make changes before the print.

7.    Set as Desktop background :- You can set the current picture at your Desktop background

I.      Fill :- Fill the entire screen with the picture.

II.    Tiles :- Tile the picture so it repeats and fill the entire screen

III. Center :- Center the picture in the middle of the screen.  

8.    Properties(Ctrl+E)  :- You can change the properties of the picture

9.    Exit (Alt+F4 ) :- You can exit from Ms-Paint.

1. Clipboard

1.    Paste (Ctrl+V) :- You can paste the contents of the Clipboard.

2.    Paste from :- You can show the Paste From dialog box and a pick a file to paste.

3.    Cut (Ctrl+X) :- You can cut the selection from the canvas and put it on the                                          Clipbaord.

4.    Copy ((Ctrl+C) You can copy the selection from the canvas and put it on the Clipboard.

 

2.Image

1.    Selection :- You can select a part of the picture.

2.    Crop (Ctrl+Shift+X) :- You can crop the picyure so it only contains the current                 the selection.

3.    Resize and Skew (Ctrl+W) :- You can resize and skew the picture  and selection.

4.    Rotate or Flip :- You can rotate the or flip the picture or selection.

3.Tools

1.    Pencil :- You can draw a free from line with the selected line width.

2.     Fill with color :- You can left click an area on the canvas to fill with the                     foreground color, right click to fill with the background color.

3.    Text :- You can insert text in to the picture.

4.    Eraser :- You can erase part of the picture and replace it with the background             color.

5.    Color picker :- You can pick a color from the picture and use it for drawing.

6.    Magnifier :- You can change the magnification for a part of the the picture.

7.    Brushes :- You can draw with different kinds of brushes.

4. Shapes

1.    Shape outline :-You can select the medium for the shape outline.

2.    Shape fill :- You can select the medium for the shape fill.

3.    Size :- You can select the width for the selected Tools.

 

5. Colors

1.    Color 1  :- You can click here and then select a color from a Color Palatte.

        This color is used with pencil and with brushes,as well as for shape outline.

2.    Color 2 :- You can click here and then select a color from the color palatte.

        This color is used with the Eraser and for Shape fill.

3.    Edit colors:- You can select a color from the Color Palatte.
